Construction of the Beaty Biodiversity Centre began in 2006 and was completed in 2010. The Centre houses the Biodiversity Research Centre, including labs and research space for faculty, graduate students, and staff, as well as the Beaty Biodiversity Museum. The building is located on the Main Mall of the UBC campus.
