Pacific Museum of the Earth - open 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, this geological museum features a Lambeosaurus skeleton and a vault of precious gems and minerals. Admission by donation.

Museum of Anthropology - known for its architectural beauty, provocative programming, and exciting exhibitions. Highlights include Bill Reid's iconic “The Raven and the First Men,” and MOA’s new Multiversity Galleries, showcasing 10,000 objects from around the world. Also enjoy Café MOA, an elegant Shop, and free tours. MOA.ubc.ca.

UBC Botanical Garden - the extensive and beautiful grounds of the garden offer visitors year-round interest in Vancouver's mild climate. Also associated is Nitobe Memorial Garden, a Japanese garden with tranquil waters, elegant bridges, and moss-covered lanterns.

Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery - a free contemporary art gallery, the Belkin is host to changing art exhibitions throughout the year. The Belkin website is also your guide to the public art around the UBC campus.

Chan Centre for the Performing Arts - a stunning 1500 seat concert hall at its centre, the Chan also houses two smaller theatres. Check the website for current events. The Chan is also one of the venues for the numerous concerts (many free) held by the UBC School of Music.
