Current Biodiversity Postdoctoral Fellowship Recipients
Mike Barker - msbarker@biodiversity.ubc.ca
"My work is broadly focussed on the evolution of biodiversity and integrates bioinformatic, phylogenomic, and evolutionary genomic approaches to better understand the origins of diversity. Most of my current research addresses the role of abrupt genomic events - polyploidy, chromosomal change, and hybridization - in plant evolution."
For more information, visit Dr.
Barker's website.
Nathan Kraft - nkraft@berkeley.edu
"I am interested in understanding the ecological and evolutionary forces that structure communities, particularly the highly diverse forests of lowland Amazonia. In my research I use a variety of approaches derrived from community ecology, ecophysiology, and community phylogenetics."
For more information, visit Dr.
Kraft's website.
